Graft Wine & Cider Bar
Atwater Estate Vineyards wanted to create a venue in downtown Watkins Glen, NY where they could showcase their products and serve and promote other local NYS wines, ciders, and food. They wanted a modern space that was unique and elegant but still approachable and inviting.
Trade Design Build organized the design by creating two interior facades, one for the tasting bar and another for retail display. Concrete, walnut, and pine were used in different proportions for both facades to provide variety within a cohesive whole. In both instances, the materials were used to create simple and clean compositions to showcase the materials honestly while promoting local wine, cider, and food.
