Trade Design Build completed a full interior renovation of the Pooley family’s vacation home on Skaneateles Lake. The team was tasked with a modernization of the home built in the early ’90s with the major goal of brightening and cleaning up spaces.
The project comprised three major facets. The first was a small addition off the kitchen to relocate the homes mudroom, half bath, side entrance and laundry room. This would also serve to improve the flow by moving access to these spaces from the kitchen to the hallway. With this major change, Trade Design Build then reorganized the kitchen along the central axis of the space, creating a focal point with the range, hood, island and dining table.
The second phase included new kitchen cabinets that were custom fabricated by Trade Design Build in our cabinet shop. Finally, the remaining spaces received a major facelift including new hardwood floors throughout, white wood ceiling paneling pulled throughout the spaces and full bathroom renovations.
